Fuses and relays (Audi 80 B2)
The fuses and relays are located on the fuse box, which is located behind the left glove compartment under the instrument cluster. It contains 12 8-amp fuses, one 16-amp and two 25-amp fuses. Another fuse is installed in a separate socket on vehicles with fuel-injected engines to protect the electric fuel pump. The circuits protected by the fuses are listed in the subsection "Design and technical characteristics". The relay block is located next to the fuse block. The relays are connected to the circuit via reed contacts.
