Carefully inspect the fuse for a blown fuse. If the fuse looks normal on the outside, but suspicions of its malfunction have persisted, check the continuity between the knife terminals protruding from its body.
Replacement
1. Before replacing a fuse, be sure to turn off the relevant consumer and the ignition.
2. The fuses are located in the fuse box on the left side of the instrument panel behind the cover.
3. Open the cover by inserting a screwdriver with a flat working part from below into the gap (arrow illustration) and pry off the cover.
4. The fuse plan is located on the inside of the fuse box cover.
5. Additional fuses are located on the relay panel, as well as on the additional relay carrier behind the relay panel and in the battery holder.
6. On vehicles with a diesel engine, the preheating fuse is located in the fuse box on the battery.
7. A sign of a blown fuse is a melted metal strip.
8. Remove the plastic clips from the inside of the cover and remove the failed fuse.
9. Insert a new fuse with the same amperage. The fuse rating is printed on the back of the handle. In addition, the fuse handle is color-coded, which can also be used to determine the rated current.
10. Reinstall the fuse box cover.
11. If after some time the new fuse blows again, the corresponding electrical circuit must be checked.
12. Never replace the fuse with wire or similar material, as this may cause serious damage to the electrical equipment.
13. It is recommended that you always have spare fuses in your vehicle.
