Fig. 18–8. Location of nuts securing the fuse box in the passenger footwell
The fuses are located in the fuse box located on the right side in the front passenger footwell (see Fig. 18–8).
Always replace a fuse with another fuse of the same rating. Each fuse is marked with the amount of current it protects. Never replace a fuse more than once without determining the cause of its blown.

Fig. 18–1. Visual inspection of the fuse integrity
If the fuse is blown, the wire connecting the fuse contacts is broken (see Fig. 18–1).

Fig. 18–2 Using tweezers to remove the fuse
To remove the fuse from the socket, use tweezers (Fig. 18–2). The wire inside the blown fuse is broken.
Install a new fuse rated for the same current. The back of each fuse indicates the current it protects. In addition, the color of the fuse body corresponds to the current it protects.
| Current strength, A | Color |
| 5 | Light brown |
| 10 | Red |
| 15 | Blue |
| 20 | Yellow |
| 25 | White |
| 30 | Green |
If the installed fuse blows again, check the electrical circuit protected by the fuse.
Never replace a fuse with a jumper wire, as this may cause serious damage to the vehicle's electrical system.
Warning: Fuses and fuse characteristics electrical circuits may change over time.
