Removal



Remove the engine hood. Remove the engine cover "arrows". Remove the noise insulation screen located below, to do this, disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.

Remove the dipstick from the guide tube. Remove the dipstick guide tube «1». Remove the oil filler…


Remove the dipstick from the guide tube. Remove the dipstick guide tube "1". Remove the oil filler tube "2" from the oil tank. Release the electrical wiring leading to the oil level and temperature sensor "G266" and to the engine speed sensor "G28" from the oil filter holder. Remove noise from the insulation screen. Disconnect the plug connector of the oil pressure sensor -Fl "pos. 1". Install an oil extraction device "V.A.G 1782" under the engine. Unscrew the oil pressure sensor. Remove the pressure oil line leading to the turbocharger from the oil filter holder "2". Ignore pos. "3".

Unscrew the «arrow» bolts and remove the oil filter holder.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order, replacing the gaskets, cuffs and sealing rings. Use clamps of the appropriate series to secure all hose connections. Fill with oil and check its level.

Tightening torques:
  • Oil filter holder to cylinder block: 14 Nm + 90° 1)
  • Oil dipstick guide tube to oil filter holder: 10 Nm
  • Oil pressure line to oil filter holder: 22 Nm
  • Oil pressure sensor to oil filter holder: 20 Nm

1) Replace the bolts.
