4.1. Hood installation details:
1 - Hood;
2 - Lock striker with safety hook;
3 - Nuts, 11 Nm;
4 - Hood stand;
5 - Strut joint 4, 14 Nm;
6 - Buckets, 21 Nm;
7 - Bolts, 21 Nm;
8 - Loop.
2. To remove the gas-filled hood strut, secure the hood in the upper position with a small screwdriver (1 in the illustration) lift the retaining spring (2) on the upper hinge head of the strut (3) and separate the strut from the hinge.
4.2. Separating the rack from the hinge.
In the same way, separate the rack from the lower hinge.
3. To remove the hood, disconnect the electrical wiring connectors, disconnect and release the washer fluid hose. Ask an assistant to hold and lift the hood, separate the pillar from it (see paragraph 1) and give me the nuts (6 in illustration 4.1). Installation is carried out in reverse order. Position the hood exactly in the center between the fenders. Adjust the hood height according to the specifications on the lock (see paragraph 5) and relative to the wings, by means of stops on the front side of the hood.
4. Loops (2 in the illustration) hood (1) remove only when the hood is securely fixed.
4.4. Hood hinge fastener.
To remove the hinge, unscrew the bolts (3) and loosen both nuts (4). When installing, tighten the fasteners to 21 Nm.
5. The hood lock is secured with three bolts (see illustration) with a force of 11 Nm.
4.5. Hood lock fastening parts.
To remove the lock (2), unhook its cable and remove the bolts (3). With the bolts loosened, you can adjust the hood height by moving the lock up and down.
6. The details of installing the hood lock drive cable are shown in the illustrations.

7. To remove the hood release lever, pull the retainer out of it (1 in the illustration).
