Upper part of the oil pan. I 1. Pressure spring; 2. Leash; 3. Oil pump drive shaft; 4. Upper part of the oil pan; 5. Wiring harness bracket; 6/8/19/23. Bolt: 9 Nm; 7. Oil pressure regulating valve "N428"; 9. Seal: 2 pcs.; replace; 10. Bolt; 11. Crankshaft oil seal on the pulley side: replace; 12. Right idler roller of poly V-belt: install in the correct position; 13. Guide roller cover; 14. Bolt; 15. Sealing flange on pulley side 16/21/24/26. Sealing ring: replace; 17. Oil pressure sensor "F22": switching pressure 2.0...2.5 bar; green insulation; check in "Guided Troubleshooting"; 20 Nm; 18. Sealing cuff: replace; 20. Cork; 22. Oil dipstick guide tube; 25/27. Gasket: replace; 28. Mounting sleeve: 2 pcs.; 29/30. Bolt; 31. TDC mark screw plug: 35 Nm; use a long Allen key with a ball head to loosen and tighten; 32. Sealing cuff: replace


Upper Oil Pan - Bolt Tightening Sequence and Torque



Tighten bolts "1...4" of the upper part of the oil pan crosswise in 2 stages as follows.

Tighten bolts «1...4» of the upper part of the oil pan crosswise in 2 stages as follows.

  • 1. Pre-tighten to 5 Nm.
  • 2. Tighten to 15 Nm.
