Removal injectors (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the engine casing. Remove the noise-insulating casing from the valve cover. Mark the injectors to the cylinders. The injectors may only be reinstalled in their original locations (cylinders). Immediately close open connectors with suitable plugs. Disconnect the return pipes from the injectors by pressing both tabs down and simultaneously pulling the middle part up "arrow" until unlocked. Disconnect the electrical connectors "1" from the injectors to be removed. Unscrew the union nuts of the high-pressure fuel lines from the injectors using the "T40055" socket wrench. Unscrew the union nuts of the high-pressure fuel lines using the SW 17 socket wrench "V.A.G 1331/6" from the fuel ramp.

Unscrew the "arrow" injector caps. Lift the caps and turn them 90°. If you unscrew the injector mounting nuts carelessly, there is a high probability that they will fall inside the cylinder head. Proceed very carefully so as not to perform unplanned installation work later and avoid subsequent damage to the engine.

Loosen the screws and remove the pressure plates of the "arrow" injectors.

Install the "T10055" puller with the "T10055/1" adapter as shown in the figure and remove the injector from the socket with light blows. Place the removed injectors on a clean rag.
