Lambda probe parts and components 1. Turbocharger, with turbocharger guide vane position sensor "G581"; 2. Lambda probe "G39" with a heating element of the lambda probe "Z19", new lambda probes are lubricated with mounting paste, when installing used lambda probes, it is allowed to lubricate only their threads with refractory grease. Do not allow mounting or refractory grease to get into the grooves of the lambda probe body, 50 N·m; 3. Exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 "G495", 45 Nm; 4. Sensor 1 exhaust pressure "G450", tighten the screw to 4.5 Nm. Pressure lines to the particulate filter 45 Nm; 5. Exhaust temperature sensor 4 "G648", 45 Nm; 6. Diesel particulate filter, after replacing the diesel particulate filter, it is necessary to perform adaptation. Use a tester for this; 7. Exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 "G235", 45 Nm

Removal the 1 exhaust gas pressure sensor "G450"

Exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" measures the pressure before and after the diesel particulate filter via 2 pipes. Exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" allows you to judge the filling of the diesel particulate filter. Remove the engine cover. Treat the hoses of exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" with solvent before removing. Disconnect connector "3" from exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450". Carefully and evenly remove the hoses from the fittings (the fittings of exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" are very fragile). Unscrew bolt "4" and remove exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450".

Installation

When installing, observe the following rules: Before installing, blow out the hoses of the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" that connect it to the particulate filter with compressed air in the direction of the particulate filter (clear away condensation or frozen moisture). Check the connection reliability and tightness of the hoses. If the pressure pipes on the particulate filter are loose, tighten them to 45 Nm. After replacing the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" and / or the particulate filter, it is necessary to perform an adaptation.
