Pressing the button opens, pressing the foot brake is necessary. Location: on the center console; 2. Light-emitting diode (Light "Emitting" Diode). Installation location: in the parking brake switch. Lights up when the parking brake is engaged. Additional indication by means of a control lamp in the instrument cluster. When dynamically decelerating above 7 km/h, the linear indicator of the switch lights up red. An additional audible signal is emitted; 3. EPB system malfunction lamp (yellow). If the parking brake malfunctions, a yellow symbol and a warning to the driver will appear on the instrument cluster display: Parking brake!; 4. Electromechanical parking brake indicator lamp. The lamp lights up red: indication when the shoe contact force has been reached. When the parking brake is applied and the ignition is on, the indicator lamp lights up. After the ignition is switched off, the indicator lamp remains on for approx. 20 seconds. If the parking brake is applied when the ignition is off, the indicator lamp lights up for approx. 20 seconds. The indicator lamp goes out when the parking brake is released. The lamp flashes red: if the indicator lamp lights up red after the parking brake is applied, this may mean the following: the braking force of the parking brake is insufficient to prevent the vehicle from rolling away; brake temperature too high. If the indicator lamp flashes red, the car must be secured against rolling in another way. The lamp lights up green, the indicator lamp when the hill start assist (ANA) is on. Additionally, a yellow lamp: if the parking brake is not functioning properly, a yellow symbol and a warning to the driver appear on the instrument cluster display: Parking brake!; 5, Execution servomotor of the electric parking brake with the right brake caliper; 6. Used electric parking and handbrake "J540". Installation location: behind the side trim at the rear on the right. 9 N·m; 7. Executive servomotor of electric parking brake with left brake caliper; 8. Sound signal. Warning when activated while driving at a speed of more than 7 km/h.
