If possible, leave the brake pedal stop in place; abrupt release of the brake pedal may cause breakage of the brake light sensor bracket. If possible, leave the brake pedal stop "17" in place; abrupt release of the brake pedal may cause breakage of the brake light sensor bracket "10". Insert the right retainer onto the bolt. Insert the bolt into the brake pedal, sliding it from right to left along the axis. Secure the bolt with the left retainer "1". The bolt must be secured with retainers on both sides. Screw in and tighten bolt "3". Install the support bracket.
