Support the hood or secure it to prevent it from falling. Slightly lift the spring lock "arrow" with a small screwdriver and remove the gas-filled shock absorber "1" from the upper ball-head bolt "2".
Repeat these steps for the lower ball head bolt.
Installation
After completely removing the gas strut, when installing, ensure that it is in the correct position: the gas strut tube on the cover side must be suspended. Press on the gas-filled shock absorber and snap it onto the ball-head bolts.
