- 1. Press the lever all the way down.
- 2. Set the steering column to the desired position.
- 3. Lock the steering column by pressing the locking lever upward.
Steering column with automatic position adjustment
The steering column position is changed automatically by pressing switch A. When the switch is pressed at the points indicated by the arrows, the column moves to the right, left, up and down.
The steering column can be folded to make it easier to get into the car by pressing button B.
When the key is removed from the ignition switch and the steering column folding device is turned on (button B in the pressed position) the steering column is in the parking position (forward and upward). After entering the vehicle and turning the ignition key, the steering column will assume the programmed position. To recall the programmed steering column position, press the ON memory button on the driver's door.
