Using the memory keys on the driver's door, you can store and recall three different positions for the seat, side mirrors and steering column. Before each entry/activation, you must press the STOP key. The OFF indicator light should light up.

Input into memory

1. Adjust the seat.

2. Adjust the position of both side rearview mirrors and the steering column.

3. Press and hold the Memory button. Alternatively, press one of the three buttons that will activate the preset seat position.

4. Release the keys.

The selected position of the seat and side mirrors is now programmed and corresponds to the number of the key pressed when entering into the memory. Each new entry using the key already used deletes the previously entered position from the memory and stores the new one.

Synchronization of the seat position activation keys with the key and remote control

In order for the seat and mirrors to be set to one of the preset positions when the doors are opened using the remote control, the corresponding key must be synchronized with the corresponding master key. It is recommended that one position/key be synchronized with one master key and the other with the other. If necessary, an additional key for a third seat position can be ordered from your Audi representative.

Synchronization is performed as follows:

5. Adjust the seat and mirrors to the desired position that you plan to enter into memory.

6. Press and hold the button that will activate the set position. Within 10 seconds, press the door lock release button on the remote control. Release the button after about two seconds.

The memorization function can be switched off by pressing the STOP key. The OFF control lamp should be lit. It is recommended to switch off this function if its use is episodic.

In an emergency, the playback process can be interrupted by pressing the STOP key or by pressing any of the other three keys.

When the position memory function is switched off, it is still possible to adjust the position of the rear-view mirrors using the corresponding switches.
