Memory input
1. Adjust the seat.
2. Adjust the position of both side mirrors and steering column.
3. Press and hold the Memory key. In addition, press one of the three buttons with which the preset seat position can be activated.
4. Release the keys.
The selected position of the seat and side mirrors is now programmed and corresponds to the key number that was pressed when entering into memory. Each time a new entry is made using a key already used, the previously entered position is deleted from the memory and the new one is memorized.
Synchronization of the keys for activating the preset seat position with the key and the remote control
In order for the seat and mirrors to be set to one of the preset positions when opening the doors with the remote control, the corresponding key must be synchronized with the corresponding main key. It is recommended that one position/key be synchronized with one master key, and the second with another. If necessary, another key for the third seat position can be ordered from your Audi dealer.
Synchronization is performed as follows:
5. Set the seat and mirrors to the desired position that you plan to memorize.
6. Press the key with which the set position will be activated and keep it pressed. Within 10 seconds, press the door lock release button on the remote control. Release the key after about two seconds.
The memory function can be deactivated by pressing the STOP key. The OFF control lamp must be on. It is recommended to disable this function if its use is episodic.
In an emergency, the playback process can be interrupted by pressing the STOP key or by pressing any of the other three keys.
When the position memory function is switched off, it is still possible to adjust the position of the rear-view mirrors using the corresponding switches.
