Attention! The steering column is changed only in the kit. Its repair is impossible.
Withdrawal
1. Remove a pillow of safety of the driver and a steering wheel, the corresponding chapter see.
2. Unlock the steering column and feed it all the way into the passenger compartment.
3. Unscrew the bolts 1 and remove the steering column lock handle 2 (see illustration).

4. Remove the two Phillips head screws (see arrows in illustration) and remove the top part of 1 facing of a steering column.

5. Unscrew two bolts 2 and a bolt 1 and remove the bottom part 3 of facing of a steering column (see illustration).

6. Disconnect plugs 1 and 3, unscrew bolt 2 and remove steering column switches 4 (see illustration).

7. Release the wires on the steering column from the holders or clamps (see arrows in illustration).

Attention! On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the transmission lock rod from the ignition switch.
8. Cars with automatic transmission. Set the automatic transmission control lever to the position «R», turn the ignition key to position «IN», press up the stopper 1 and disconnect the lock rod 2 (see illustration).

9. Remove facing in a niche for legs from the driver's party.
10. Unscrew the nut 1 of the coupling bolt of the cross on the steering shaft (see illustration). Nut tightening torque 30 Nm.

Attention! The pinch bolt is an eccentric type, therefore, to remove it, it is necessary to turn the bolt with a socket wrench (insert T50).
11. Remove the pinch bolt and disconnect the steering shaft from the steering gear (see illustration).

12. Unscrew the bolts 1 with hex sockets and remove the steering column (see illustration).

Installation
Installation of a steering column is carried out in sequence, return to its removal.
