Installation
6. Install the steering wheel on the splines of the steering shaft, keeping the wheel in the neutral position.
Attention! When installing the steering wheel, the front wheels must be aligned for driving in a straight line, and the turn signal stalk must be in the middle position.
7. Connect the plugs. They should lock into place with a clearly audible click.
8. Secure the steering wheel with a new socket head bolt, tightening the bolt to 60 Nm.
9. Install the airbag unit on the steering wheel.
10. Carry out a test drive. While driving, make sure the steering wheel is in the correct position. When driving in a straight line, the steering wheel spokes must be horizontal.
If the steering wheel is installed incorrectly, then it should be removed and rearranged, achieving the desired position. If necessary, check the camber and toe-in in a workshop.
11. Check the functioning of the horn and make sure that the turn signal switch lever automatically returns to its original position.
