Removal



Removal


1. Remove the gearbox to gain access to the clutch.

2. Mark the installation position of the clutch cover on the flywheel.

3. While holding the flywheel, loosen the clutch housing mounting bolts in a diagonal pattern. Remove the bolts.

4. Remove the clutch cover and friction disc from the flywheel.

Inspection



Inspect the diaphragm spring plates for wear and scratches. If any scratch is more than 0.3 mm deep, replace the clutch.

Inspect the pressure plate, friction plate and flywheel for wear or damage and replace if necessary.

Installation



Installation


1. Install the friction disc to the flywheel.

2. Install the clutch housing onto the disc.



3. Tighten the mounting bolts and position the friction disc exactly in the center of the clutch housing and flywheel.

4. Gradually tighten the clutch housing mounting bolts in a diagonal pattern to the specified torque.
