
- A - discharged battery
- B - current-supplying battery
The engine of the car with the current-supplying battery must be running.
Auxiliary cables must be connected in the following order:
- 1 - one end of the cable (+) (usually red) connects to the auxiliary lead or terminal (+) of the discharged battery
- 2 - the other end of the red cable is connected to the positive (+) terminal of the current-supplying battery
- 3 - one end of the cable (-) (usually black) connects to the pole pin (-) of the current-carrying battery
- 4 - the other end of the black cable (-) is connected to the ground point on the shock absorber dome or to the bolt screwed into the front of the cylinder block
If the eye bolt is varnished, the (-) cable is connected directly to the engine block or to any metal part screwed to it.
