- A - dead battery
- B - current supply battery
The car engine must be running with a current-carrying battery.
Auxiliary cables must be connected in the following order:
- 1 - one end of the cable (+) (usually red) connected to an auxiliary tap or outlet (+) discharged battery
- 2 - the other end of the red cable is connected to the pole (+) battery terminal
- 3 - one end of the cable (-) (usually black) connected to the pole (-) current supply battery
- 4 - the other end of the black cable (-) connects to a ground point on the spring strut dome or to a bolt screwed into the front of the cylinder block
If the eyebolt is varnished, then the cable (-) connects directly to the engine block or to any metal part screwed to it.
