
1 – vehicle identification plate
It is located in the engine compartment on the right side of the body. Cars exported to some countries are not equipped with such a plate.
2 – vehicle identification number (chassis number)
Stamped on the rear cross wall of the engine compartment.
3 – engine number
Located on 4- and 8-cylinder engines, as well as 5-cylinder diesel engines on the left in the direction of travel (see illustration) on the engine block under the place where the block and cylinder head are connected.

On cars with a 6-cylinder engine, the engine number is located on the right side of the engine block, under the place where the block and cylinder head are connected. To access the engine number, unscrew the engine cover.
On the 169 kW engine the number is stamped on the front right side, on the cylinder head.
Vehicle identification plate

The plate is located in the luggage compartment, under the flooring, in the spare wheel niche.
The plate contains the following data:
- car number as an object of production process control;
- vehicle identification number;
- digital model designation;
- model name/engine power;
- engine and gearbox letter designation;
- paint coating code/ interior trim and equipment option;
- custom assembly code.
