Cars with air conditioning, as well as some diesel versions, are equipped with a branch for connecting an auxiliary cable.
This lead is connected to the positive (+) terminal of the battery, which is installed under the rear seat. This device generally allows the battery to be used without removing the rear seat.
When starting the engine from a booster battery, open the plastic cover and secure the tip of the red auxiliary cable to the jumper terminal.
After starting aid, close the branch cover to prevent short circuit.
When starting vehicles without an auxiliary outlet, first remove the water intake cover to access the battery.

There is a ground connection point on the upper support cup of the right shock absorber strut for a secure connection of the negative (-) cable.
On vehicles without a ground point, the (-) cable is best connected to a bolt on the front of the cylinder block or to any metal part that is securely bolted to the block.
Warning: The leads can also be used to connect the charger. The positive cable is connected to the lead shown on the left or to the (+) battery pole, and the negative cable is connected to the ground point shown at the top or to the bolt.
