Removal



1. Remove the fuel tank cover and disconnect the handbrake cables.

2. Disconnect the brake lines and remove the cables, wires and brake lines from the mountings on the crossmember.

3. Check that all components are disconnected and do not interfere with the removal of the crossbar.

4. Remove the mounting nuts and bolts securing the suspension struts to the crossmember.

5. Loosen the caliper mounting bolts and remove the caliper from the strut.

7. Loosen and remove the pivot bolts and remove the crossmember.

8. Inspect the mounting bushings and replace them if necessary. When installing the bushings, check that the center line B between the cutouts is at an angle of 90°±4° to the axis of the longitudinal rod A.
