2. Clean the engine with an appropriate cleaning agent and wash it with a steam generator.
3. Carry out a test drive and determine where the oil is leaking.
The most likely places for an oil leak are:
- crankshaft, camshaft and intermediate shaft seals (4-cylinder engines). These places are covered by the toothed belt guard
- cylinder head cover gasket
- cylinder head gasket
- clamp distributor gasket (4- and 5-cylinder engines).
- engine oil pressure sensors
- oil filter gasket
- filter mounting gasket
- oil pan cover gasket
- your crankshaft oil seal on the rear end (joint engine-gearbox
- oil radiator (diesel engines)
- sealing ring of the lever of manual pumping of fuel on high pressure pump (TD engines only).
