Reverse
Reverse gear can only be engaged when the vehicle is stopped. When reverse gear is engaged and the ignition is on, the reversing lights come on.
Reverse gear cannot be engaged from the 5th gear position. The lever must first be set to neutral between 3rd and 4th gears. All gears are synchronized, which ensures silent and easy gear selection.
Caution: Do not leave your hand on the gearshift lever while driving. The pressure from your hand weight is transferred to the selector fork and contributes to premature fork wear.
When shifting from 5th to 4th gear, it is recommended not to apply much lateral force to the lever, because you can "skip" neutral gear and engage 2nd. High engine speeds can cause engine damage.
