1 - heat exchanger (heater radiator)
2 - left half of the body
3 - mounting bracket
4 - right half of the body
Can't figure it out.
5 - connection board
With preliminary resistors; replace as a set.
6 - fresh air damper
7 - temperature damper
8 - fan
9 - footwell air duct
Screwed to the heater with 3 bolts.
Fresh air for the heater enters the passenger compartment through the heater ventilation system. The air flows around the heater housing and through various flaps exits to individual air outlet nozzles. If the heater is set to "Heat", then the cold air is heated by the heating radiator. The radiator is located in the heater housing and is heated by hot coolant. The flowing fresh air is heated by the hot sections of the radiator and then exits into the passenger compartment. Heating is regulated by air, i.e. the temperature is set by the ratio of cold and warm air using the temperature flap.
To increase the heater power, a four-stage heater fan is used. To set different fan speeds, resistors are connected. These resistors are located on the fan connection board. If defective, the connection board is replaced as a set.
