1. Remove the lower panel from under the steering column (Section 11).
2. Remove the bracket, remove the pin securing the master cylinder push rod to the clutch pedal.
3. Remove the bracket from the end of the hinge axis.
4. Remove the pedal, and simultaneously disconnect the spring from the pedal and suspension.
5. Clean the parts, check their condition. Temporarily install the pedal and check the bushing wear. Check the condition of the rubber foot pad. Replace parts as needed.
6. Reassemble in reverse order. Lubricate the hinge pin and spring pivot points with a general-purpose lubricant. Check and, if necessary, adjust the clutch pedal height as described in Chapter 6, paragraph 19.
