1. Remove the bottom panel from under the steering column (Section 11).
2. Remove the bracket, remove the pin that secures the master cylinder push rod to the clutch pedal.
3. Remove the bracket from the end of the hinge pin.
4. Get a pedal, at the same time disconnect a spring from a pedal and a suspension bracket.
5. Clean the parts, check their condition. Temporarily install the pedal and check the bushing for wear. Check the condition of the rubber foot pad. Replace parts as needed.
6. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the pivot pin and spring pivot points with multipurpose lubricant. Check and, if necessary, retouch the clutch pedal height as described in Chapter 6, paragraph 19.
