Windscreen wiper blades and arms — removal and installation (Audi 80 B3)

1. Before removing the wiper blade, first move the arm away from the windshield and rotate the horizontal wiper blade.

2. Lift the small spring clip, then pull the blade center block down the lever and remove the blade (photo).





3. When installing the blade, make sure the spring clip is installed correctly.

4. To remove the lever, remove the cover and unscrew the spindle nut (photo). Remove the washer, loosen the lever on the axle, slowly rocking it from side to side.



5. If the windshield wipers are not in the parked position, turn on the ignition and let the engine "park" automatically.



6. Reassemble in reverse order. Before tightening the spindle nuts, position the wiper blades as shown in Fig. 12.12-12.14, according to the model.
