1. Before removing the tube or hose of the brake system, unscrew the filler cap of the tank, cover the neck with a piece of polyethylene to reduce fluid loss. Alternatively, you can install a clip on the rear pipe if the rear brake pipe is removed.
2. To remove the solid line, unscrew the union nuts at each end, remove the brackets (where are used) and get the line (photo). Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
3. To remove the flexible tube, unscrew the union nut that secures the rigid tube to the end of the flexible hose (photo). Remove the bracket, remove the hose from the suspension. Unscrew the remaining end. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
4. After installing the hard or flexible tube, bleed the hydraulic system as described in Chapter 17.
