Bumpers — removal and installation (Audi 80 B3)

1. Raise the front or rear of the vehicle and support it on axle stands.

2. Where equipped, remove the fog lamp as described in Section 12.

3. Unfasten the ends of the bumper from the side hangers.

4. Remove the radiator grille (Chapter 24).

5. See Fig. 11.20 and 11.21, unscrew the mounting bolts and screws (photo). Remove the bumper.









6. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order. If a new rear bumper is installed, see Fig. 11.22.
