1. To remove the overlay (1 in the illustration), installed above the front panel, remove its fasteners (2) and pull the trim out of the front panel at an angle towards the rear.

3 - Hood;
4 - Hood lock.


When installing, make sure that the retaining hooks are fully engaged.

2. The fastening details of the front bumper cover are shown in the illustrations.

1 - Bumper cover;
2 - Bolt with washer, 6 Nm;
3 - Bolt, 6 Nm;
4 - Front wheel spoiler.

1 - Bumper cover;
2 - Bolts, 2 Nm;
3 - Soundproofing;
4 - Crossbar for sound insulation;

3. Remove the cover above the front panel (see paragraph 1).

4. Loosen the wheel arch liners fasteners in the area of the bumper trim (see Section 10).

5. Pull out the locking pin (1 in the illustration) bumper pads.

6. Remove the bolts (2 in illustration 9.1a) fastening the bumper cover to the front panel and bolts (3) on the mudguards and sound insulation.

7. Unhook the bumper cover from the guides at the joints with the fenders and remove it forward.

2 - Nut, 60 Nm;
3 - Washer;
4 - Bolt, 60 Nm;
5 - Shock damper;
6 - Bolt, 23 Nm: when tightening/loosening, hold nut 2;
7 - Horn;
8 - Bolt with washer, 8 Nm;
9 - Adaptive cruise control sensor.


9. Remove the front bumper cover (see subsection above).

10. Remove the bolts (1 in the illustration) and pull out the beam (5). If necessary, remove the shock damper (3) by unscrewing the bolts (4 and 2).

Rear bumper and its cover



11. The installation details of the rear bumper and its cover are shown in the illustration.

2 - Bolt, 3 Nm;
3 - Left guide;
4, 5 - Spacer sleeve;
6 - Nut, 4.5 Nm;
7 - Right guide;
8 - Bumper beam, secured with bolts 9;
9 - Bolt, 60 Nm;
10 - Fasteners inserted into the body;
11 - Holder;
12 - Bolt, 2 Nm;
13 - Right overlay;
14 - Central overlay;
15 - Left overlay.

12. Remove the luggage compartment trim panel (see Part B).

13. If equipped, disconnect the parking assistance sensor connectors.

14. Remove the nuts from the luggage compartment (6 in illustration 9.11).

15. Loosen the wheel arch liners fasteners in the area of the bumper trim (see Section 10).

16. Release the side parts of the bumper cover from the guides and remove the cover towards the rear.
