Vehicles with one adjustable tie rod
Set the front wheels to the straight ahead position.
Loosen the tie rod or hex nut on the tie rod.
Adjust the toe angle of the front wheels by turning the connecting tie.
Make sure that the spokes of the steering wheel are horizontal when the wheels are installed for straight-line movement. Adjust the position of the steering wheel if necessary.
Lock the connecting tie or locknut of the nut on the tie rod.
Vehicles with two adjustable tie rods
Set the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.
Divide in half the nominal value of the toe angle and adjust the toe angle of each wheel to the obtained value by rotating the connecting tie of the corresponding steering rods, after releasing the locknuts.
Tighten the tie rod locknuts.
If necessary, adjust the position of the steering wheel.
