Selector in position "STOP" and ignition on: do not press the brake pedal. The automatic transmission selector is locked and while the lock button on the selector handle is pressed, it cannot be removed from the position "STOP". The selector lever lock solenoid -N110- blocks the selector. Press and hold the brake pedal. The selector lever lock solenoid -N110- releases the selector lever lock. Now you can set the selector to the position for movement.

Checking the ignition key removal lock
Turn on the ignition. Press and hold the brake pedal. Translation of the automatic transmission selector from the position "STOP" only possible when the lock button on the selector lever is depressed without "lever". Switch off the ignition. The ignition key must not be removed in any of the positions of the automatic transmission selector other than "STOP". Move selector lever to position "STOP". Remove the ignition key. The ignition key can only be removed when in position "STOP" selector. Selector cannot be translated from position "STOP" while pressing the lock button and the brake pedal. If the ignition key removal lock is not as described, carry out "Vehicle self-diagnosis".
