Lower part of the right intake manifold (Audi Q5-8R)

Remove the engine casing. Remove the upper part of the intake manifold. Unscrew the bolts "arrows" and remove the protective screen of the high-pressure line. Unscrew the union nuts "1" and "4" and remove the high-pressure line. Ignore "Pos. 2,3".



Disconnect plug connector "1" of air flow meter "G70". Unscrew bolt "3" and release pressure sensor 1 of exhaust gas "G450" "pos. 4" on air duct pipe. Release electrical connector "2" of exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 for 1 cylinder bank "G496" on air duct pipe. Remove air duct hose with air flow meter "G70", for this loosen hose clamp "5" and open clamping clamps "arrows".



Unscrew the bolts "left arrows", remove the air duct hose "right arrow" and remove the suction pipe with the air duct hose.





Remove the air duct "arrow".



Disconnect plug connector "2" of the EGR radiator pump "V400". Unscrew bolts "1".



Remove both plug connectors "1 and 2" from the bracket.



Disconnect electrical connector "3" on intake manifold flap motor "V157". Unscrew bolts "4". Item "2" is not installed. Disconnect electrical connectors of glow plugs of cylinders 1,2,3. Push aside electrical wiring harness.





Unscrew the bolts "arrows". Press the coolant pipe to the side and remove the lower part of the right intake manifold. "Pos. 1" is not taken into account. The intake channels of the cylinder head should be covered with a clean rag.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets. Install upper intake manifold. Install high pressure lines. Perform fuel system leak test.
