Disconnecting and connecting the battery



Caution! Risk of accident. When working on pyrotechnic units (eg Airbag, seat belt tensioner) The battery must be disconnected in a special way, described below, with the ignition on.

Connect the electrical plug connection to the battery monitoring control unit "J367". If the wires to the battery terminals are reconnected, the following operations must be performed: Activate the automatic up/down mode of the electric window. Interrogate the event memory of all control units and delete the "Low voltage" fault message.



Note: After reconnecting the power supply, the ESP warning light may not go out until after driving for several meters.


If available, install Bassbox.
