Remove the front panel side trim. Remove the A-pillar joint trim.
Driver's side: remove the cable control lever. Unscrew bolt "2" of the front sill trim.
Continue for both sides: Separate the front sill trim "1" from the lower crossmember with the removal wedge "3409", starting at the rear of the "arrow". Remove the front sill trim towards the rear from the footrest/floor covering.
Disconnect and remove the front threshold trim from the drive arm mount.
Installation
Installation in reverse order: if the threshold trim clamps remain in the attachment points on the body, remove them and place them on the threshold trim for installation. Check the clamps for defects and deformations, replace if necessary.
Driver's side: Install the front sill trim into the drive arm mount and insert into the footrest.
Front passenger side: Insert the front sill trim guide into the floor covering.
Continue for both sides: secure the front sill trim to the lower cross member and slide the door seal edge onto it.
