Removal the outside door handle
Move the door seal to the side and remove the protective film above the hole "arrow A". Unscrew the clamp bolt "4" completely with a screwdriver. Pull the outer door handle and hold it in the "open" position. Press the fastening brackets "3" of the housing inward, the outer door handle is fixed in the "open" position. Remove the housing "2" from the support bracket "arrow B".
Pull the outer door handle -1 "in the direction of the arrow", due to this the outer door handle is removed from the drive lever in the support bracket.
Tilt the outer door handle "1" outward "arrow" and remove it from the mount on the support bracket. On vehicles with "keyless entry system", disconnect the plug connector "2" from the outer door handle.
Installation
Replace damaged or brittle outer door handle washers "1" and "2".
Insert the outer door handle "1" "arrow A", while the outer door handle should enter the fastening -2 on the support bracket "3". Tilt the outer door handle -1 "in the direction of arrow B" and insert the "leash" "5" in front of the drive lever "4" in the support bracket. Press the fastening bracket of the outer door handle housing.
Removal the outside door handle
Remove the outer door handle. Using awl "1", pry up the cover plate "2" of the outer door handle in the place indicated in the figure by the "arrow". Remove the cover plate from the outer door handle "3".
Installation
Insert the outer door handle cover until it clicks into place. Install the outer door handle.
Removing the rear door outer handle sensor "G417" / "G418"
To avoid damaging the sensor, proceed as described below: Remove the outer door handle "2" with sensor "1".
Carefully unfasten the clamps at the arrows "A" and "B" with a small screwdriver and push the connector "3" with the wiring to the side. Place the screwdriver in front of the sensor, as shown in Fig.
Press the sensor forward with a slight turn of the screwdriver from the outer door handle. Remove the sensor from the outer door handle.
