Note: After replacing the glass section, motor, sunroof lifting mechanism parts or sunblind, initialization must be performed for the corresponding drive. On newly replaced motors, the adjustment run begins immediately after switching on without waiting 10 seconds. When initializing, the closing force limiter does not work.
Standardization of the control unit of the sliding sunroof "J245"
Ignition is on. The sliding sunroof regulator "E139" must be in the "Sunroof closed" position. Pull the sliding sunroof regulator "E139" "1" down "arrow" and hold it in this position during the entire normalization (approx. 20 sec). During initialization, the glass section first closes and then moves back approximately 200 mm. After the lid has closed again, the normalization process is complete and the sliding hatch regulator "E139" should be released.
Normalization of the sunblind control unit "J394"
Ignition on. Press button 1 of the sunblind "E584" "close sunroof blind" "2" and hold it in this position for the entire normalization (approx. 20 sec). During initialization, the curtain first closes and then moves back approximately 200 mm. After the curtain closes again, the normalization process is complete and you should release the "E584" sunroof curtain key 1.
