Removal
Remove the rear center console trim.
Unscrew the two nuts securing the base of the parking brake lever 1 (fig. 11.18).
Using a screwdriver blade, pry the parking brake cable downwards through the hole in the base of the parking brake lever (see fig. 11.18).
Remove the parking brake lever.
Installation
Connect the parking brake cable to the compensator.
Screw in the parking brake lever mounting nuts and tighten them to a torque of 25 Nm.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the operation of the parking brake cables.
Install the rear center console trim.
