Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the power wires from the glow plugs.
3. Unscrew the glow plugs using a special key SW10-3220 (see illustration).

Installation
Installation of glow plugs is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
4. The tightening torque of the glow plugs is 15 Nm. Use the SW 10-3220 wrench to tighten (see illustration 6.3).
Checking glow plugs
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Disconnect the power wires from the glow plugs.
7. Connect a power test light to the positive (+) battery terminal and test each glow plug.
If the bulb lights up, the spark plug is OK. For a more accurate check, use an ammeter.
If the light does not light, the spark plug is faulty and must be replaced.
