Withdrawal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the power wires from the glow plugs.
3. Unscrew the glow plugs using the special key SW10-3220 (see illustration).

Installation
The glow plugs are installed in the reverse order of removal.
4. The tightening torque for the glow plugs is 15 Nm. Use wrench SW 10-3220 for tightening (see illustration 6.3).
Checking glow plugs
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Disconnect the power wires from the glow plugs.
7. Connect a power test light to the positive (+) battery terminal and check each glow plug.
If the light comes on, then the spark plug is good. For a more accurate check, use an ammeter.
If the bulb does not light, then the candle is faulty and must be replaced.
