Withdrawal
1. Remove the front bumper (see relevant chapter).
2. Squeeze out the latches and remove the protective pad (see arrows in illustration).

3. Unscrew the bolts (see arrows in illustration) fasteners and remove both intercooler fairings.

4. Unscrew the bolts (see arrows in illustration) power steering line holders and move the line away from the work site without opening the system. Carefully tie up the piping to avoid damaging it.

5. Cars with air conditioning. Disconnect refrigerant pressure sensor 1 (see illustration).

6. Disconnect the outdoor air temperature sensor 4 and release the wire from the holder (see illustration 8.5).
7. Cars with air conditioning. Unscrew bolts 2 and 3 and remove the air conditioning radiator mounting brackets and remove the radiator (see illustration 8.5). Carefully tie the radiator with wire on the body, without disconnecting the hoses and refrigerant pipes from it. Do not kink or kink hoses.
Attention! Do not open the refrigerant circuit yourself - risk of frostbite! If refrigerant comes into contact with the skin, immediately rinse the skin with cold water for at least 15 minutes. The refrigerant is colorless, odorless and heavier than air. If a refrigerant leaks, people near the floor where the vehicle is parked or in rooms below the leak may suffocate.
Attention! Air conditioning piping and hoses must not be stretched, bent or twisted.
16. Disconnect the air pressure sensor 1 in the intake manifold (see illustration).

17. Disconnect the air duct hose from the intercooler by removing the clamp 2 (see illustration 8.16).

19. Unscrew bolts 1 and 3 fastening and carefully remove the intercooler (see illustration 8.18).
Installation
Installing the charge air cooler (intercooler) performed in the reverse order of removal.
