Removal



1. Disconnect the cable from the throttle shaft.

2. Remove the cable sheath from the mounting bracket.

3. Remove the trim panel under the steering column.

4. Disconnect the cable from the accelerator pedal and remove the cable.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Adjustment



Models with manual transmission



Adjust the position of the metal clip on the cable housing so that when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the throttle valve is fully open.

Models with automatic transmission



Place a 9mm thick block between the gas pedal and the floor and press the pedal against the block. Adjust the position of the cable sheath on the throttle body so that the throttle valve is fully open. Check the operation of the downshift switch.
