ADR engine
Removal
1. Remove the top engine cover.
2. Remove the air intake located between the air filter and the throttle body housing.
3. Disconnect the wires from the ignition coil. Disconnect the ground wire.
4. Unscrew the nuts and remove the camshaft cover.
5. Remove the gaskets and oil deflector from the cover
Installation
1. Clean the surfaces of the cover and cylinder head, install new gaskets.
2. Install the oil deflector.
3. Place the cover on the head and tighten the bolts.
4. Install the remaining parts.
All engines except ADR
Removal
1. Remove the upper timing belt cover.
2. Remove the top portion of the rear timing belt cover.
3. Remove the camshaft cover nuts.
4. Remove the reinforcement plates and remove the camshaft cover.
5. Remove the oil deflector.
6. Remove the gasket.
7. Remove the semi-circular gasket located in the groove of the front camshaft bearing cap and remove the rubber plug located at the rear of the cylinder head.
Installation
1. Clean the surfaces of the cylinder cover and head.
2. Install the parts in reverse order.
