Instructions: Lubricate all supporting and working surfaces during installation work.


Camshaft housing:

Camshaft housing:
1. Bolt. Replace. 20 Nm + 90°
2. Intake camshaft
3. Camshaft housing with built-in camshaft bearings, remove the remains of the old sealant, thoroughly clean the seating surfaces; they should be free of oil and grease, apply sealant before installation, when installing put vertically on top of the expansion bolt and mounting pins
4. Seal. Replace if damaged
5. Lid
6. Hose (only BBY)
7. Check valve (only BBY)
8. Bolt
9. O-ring. Replace
10. Hall sensor "G40"
11. Bolt, 10 Nm
12. Bolt. Replace. Observe the sequence when unscrewing
13. Sealing ring. Replace
14. Lid
15. Bolt, 10 Nm
16. Lid
17. Bolt, 10 Nm
18. Sealing ring. Replace
19. Inlet camshaft with cams for driving the high-pressure pump, before dismantling remove the roller tappet of the high-pressure pump, before installation moisten with oil, including the shoulders of the axial bearings
20. Exhaust camshaft, before installation, moisten with oil, including the shoulders of the axial bearings
21. Sealing cuffs. Replace
22. Exhaust camshaft gear
23. Bolt. Replace, 20 Nm + 90°




Replace the camshaft housing mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence «1... 15» in 2…


Replace the camshaft housing mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence "1... 15" in 2 stages as follows: Tighten to 10 Nm. Tighten by 90°.
