Outside rear view mirror housing (Audi A6 C5)

Removal

Remove the mirror glass.

Remove two bolts D (fig. 12.65).



Press back on the locking tabs B (fig. 12.65) and remove cover C downwards.

Remove screws A (fig. 12.65) on the mirror position adjustment mechanism.

Lift up housing E (fig. 12.65) outside rearview mirror.

Installation

Place the E body on top (fig. 12.65) outside rearview mirror.

Tighten screws A (fig. 12.65) on the adjustment mechanism and tighten them slightly.

Place the lid C on the bottom (fig. 12.65) and snap it in place. Secure it with bolts D. Replace the mirror glass.
