Removal
1. Remove the rear engine cover.
2. Unscrew the spark plugs.
3. Set piston N1 to TDC.
ABP, AAT, AEL

1. Loosen the tensioner nut.

2. Remove the belt.
AAS
Lock the pump sprocket, unscrew the sprocket bolt and remove the belt.
Examination
Inspect the belt for grease or oil contamination, wear or damage. Replace the belt if necessary.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
ABP, AAT, AEL

Apply approximately 2.5 kg of force to the tensioner lever, turn the crankshaft half a turn clockwise and tighten the tensioner nut.
AAS
The belt is tensioned correctly if it can be twisted no more than 90°.
