Withdrawal
1. Remove the rear engine cover.
2. Unscrew the candles.
3. Set piston N1 to TDC.
ABP, AAT, AEL
1. Loosen tensioner nut.
2. Remove the belt.
AAS
Lock the pump sprocket, unscrew the sprocket bolt and remove the belt.
Examination
Inspect the belt for grease or oil contamination, wear or damage. Replace belt if necessary.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
ABP, AAT, AEL
Apply a force of approximately 2.5 kg to the tensioner arm, turn the crankshaft half a turn clockwise and tighten the tensioner nut.
AAS
The belt is correctly tensioned if it can be twisted no more than 90°.
