Removal
1. Remove the timing belt and crankshaft sprocket.
2. Remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the ventilation duct at the rear of the unit.
4. Remove the oil pickup filter retaining ring.
5. Remove the filter (AAT).
6. Unscrew the branch pipe bolts.
7. Unscrew the pipe bracket bolts.
8. Remove the pipe.
9. Remove the sealing ring.
10. Remove the bolts and remove the oil pump.
11. Remove the pump gasket.
Examination
1. Remove the pump cover.
2. Unscrew the plug of the pressure reducing valve.
3. Remove the washer and spring.
4. Remove the piston (AAT).
5. Inspect all pump and valve parts for wear and damage.
6. Replace the crankshaft oil seal if necessary.
7. Assemble the pump and pressure reducing valve. Tighten the pressure reducing valve plug (AAT).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
