Oil pan (Audi A6 C4)

Removal

1. Raise and support the front of the vehicle.

2. Remove the dipstick and remove the lower engine shield.

3. Drain the oil.

4. Place a jack under the front suspension crossmember, remove the bolts and lower the crossmember slightly.





5. Loosen the pan bolts.



6. Unscrew the bolts.





7. Remove the pan and its gasket.

Installation

1. Clean the surfaces of the oil pan and cylinder block and install a new gasket.



2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the oil return pipe washers.
