Timing Belt Tensioner
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the drive belts.
3. Set piston N1 to TDC and remove the upper timing belt cover.
4. Loosen the tensioner nut and loosen the belt. Unscrew the nut.
5. Remove the tensioner.
Installation
Install the tensioner in reverse order and tighten the belt.
Camshaft Sprocket
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the drive belts.
3. Set piston N1 to TDC and remove the upper timing belt cover.
4. Remove the tensioner and belt.
5. Unscrew the crankshaft sprocket bolt and remove the sprocket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Crankshaft sprocket
Removal
1. Remove the timing belt.
2. Remove the crankshaft sprocket bolt and remove the sprocket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
1. Insert the crankshaft sprocket bolt.
2. Tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
3. Tighten the bolt to the required angle.
Intermediate shaft sprocket
Removal
1. Remove the timing belt.
2. Lock the sprocket and unscrew the bolt. Remove the sprocket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
