Warning: On right-hand drive vehicles, the brake fluid reservoir is located on the opposite side of the engine compartment.
Liquid level control
The fluid level must always be between the marks "max" And "min". A slight decrease in the fluid level as the vehicle runs is due to wear and automatic adjustment of the brake linings. This is normal.
With a significant decrease in the liquid level in a short period of time or if it falls below the mark "min" depressurization of the brake system is not ruled out. If the brake fluid level in the reservoir is too low, the brake system warning light comes on. It is imperative that you contact Audi immediately to have the system checked.
Brake Fluid Replacement
Brake fluid is hygroscopic. Therefore, over time, it absorbs moisture from the surrounding air and accumulates water in itself. An increased water content significantly lowers the boiling point and under certain conditions can impair the braking effect. Therefore, change the brake fluid every two years!
