The oil filter is located on the left side of the engine.

Regular oil and oil filter changes are one of the most important operations for extending the life of your vehicle.

Execution order



1. Warm up the engine.

2. Loosen the drain plug about half a turn. Place a container to collect the oil and completely unscrew the plug.

3. Allow the oil to drain, moving the container if necessary.

4. Wipe the plug clean and replace the sealing washer if necessary. Wipe the area around the drain hole and tighten the plug to the specified torque.

5. Place an oil collection container under the oil filter.

6. Using an oil filter removal tool, loosen the filter if necessary.

7. Unscrew the filter by hand

8. Clean the filter installation area. Lubricate the new filter O-ring with oil and install it on the engine. Screw the filter securely by hand.

10. Remove the dipstick to check the oil level.

11. Fill with the required type of oil.



12. Start the engine and check for oil leaks around the oil filter and drain plug.

Warning: On turbocharged models, do not increase engine speed until the oil pressure warning light goes out!
