Removal
1. Set the front wheels straight and lock the steering column.
2. Remove the panel in the center of the steering wheel.
3. Loosen the mounting nut, mark the installation position of the steering wheel on the steering column shaft and remove the steering wheel.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Models with airbag
Warning: Observe safety precautions when working with the air bag module.
Removal
1. Remove the air bag module.
2. Set the front wheels straight and lock the steering column.
3. Remove the two mounting screws and remove the upper steering column cover.
4. Disconnect the air bag contact module connector.
5. Loosen the mounting nut, mark the installation position of the steering wheel on the steering column shaft and remove the steering wheel.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
