Removal
Internal door opening handle
Look subsection 12.9.
Front door outer handle
1. Remove the glass frame and protective cover if necessary.
2. Lift the handle, remove the mounting clip and cover.
3. Release the lock sleeve (arrow) and disconnect the handle rod from the lock.
4. Rotate the retaining clip and remove it from the lock and door.
5. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the outer handle from the door.
Front door lock drum
1. Remove the outer handle.
2. Slide the sleeve down and disconnect the rod from the lock.
3. Disconnect the connection connector from the switch.
4. Remove the handle trim panel and remove the lock cover.
5. Remove the switch if necessary.
Front door lock
1. Remove the door frame.
2. Disconnect the rods from the lock.
3. Disconnect the lock drive connection connector.
4. On models with central locking, disconnect the vacuum hose from the lock actuator.
5. Loosen the mounting screws.
6. Remove the lock and seal.
7. Turn the cable 90° and disconnect it from the lock.
Rear door outer handle
1. Remove the door frame.
2. Release the retaining clip and disconnect the lock rod from the handle.
3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the handle.
Rear door lock
1. Remove the door frame.
2. Disconnect the lock rod from the handle.
3. Remove the lock cables from the mountings on the door.
4. Loosen the mounting screws and disconnect the vacuum hose.
5. Remove the lock.
6. Disconnect the cables after removing the lock.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the length of the rod so that there is a free play of approximately 1 mm, then install the mounting clamp.
